I’m so happy to find people out there that still have old fashion values and understand that saying “Thank you’ is part of being positive. It’s affirmation that we depreciate something that someone took the time to offer us.

very good article! makes me stop and think about all those times i downplayed compliments and turned them into a negative. i will try to accept each and every compliment with grace and also in turn give more compliments. the world is truely what we make it! thank you so much for sharing….

Wow, this is such an amazing article. I have a hard time accepting thanks for compliments, for pretty much the same reasons as the author. I have to say I will always think of this article when someone compliments me and have a hard time saying anything OTHER than thank you!!!!
