When I think of someone as a “friend”, it usually stays that way, period.
If i meet someone, and I am attracted, and want them for more than friendship, that sometimes, can simmer down to less. But not the other way around…
I know a few cases of friendship turning to romance, and I hate to say it,
but they did not work out, or , the relationship was more of a “friendship” and lacked the passion.
Hum, I don’t know about this one!
happy St. pattys Day!!

My dear Ms. Matchmaker,

Of all the blogs I've read on your site, this is the one that really hits home. A true friendship makes an incredible basis for a romantic relationship. Just think about it for a second....he/she has seen you at your best and worst, your lowest of lows. He/she knows you only too well and has seen a side of you that you've chosen not to disclose to others. You've shared laughs, insider jokes, friends, opinions, tears, hugs, dreams, movie night on the couch and lots and lots of beers/wine. What's better than that. HE/SHE KNOWS YOU AND OBVIOUSLY LIKES WHAT HE/SHE SEES! I took this chance 25 years ago and every day it brings more joy, more laughter, a deep commitment to each other... I never imagined it could be this good.
